Virginian's on the New MatScouts Class of 2026 Big Board
Virginia was well represented once again

This is the first update to this particular Big Board since prior to the 2024-25 regular season, so a lot of changes were made. As I expected, Virginia was represented well on this list which extended down to the top 250 prospects in the country.
I have repeatedly touted how excellent the Class of 2025 was and that was reflected in the rankings for that class with five in the top 100 and 13 in the top 250. The new Class of 2026 Big Board features five Virginia natives in the top 100 and one earning the #101 ranking. A total of ten wrestlers are noted among the top 250. It truly isn’t very far behind its predecessor.
Here are the rankings themselves:
#25 Tyler Dekraker (Chantilly)
